The binding is my favorite part! the flat at the fly tying. The book does not hold more than one material, so you will need to stock up. But if creative, you can create a lot of any other materials. I have only the basic material so we just use what I have. Another aid would be more in depth list of what you can catch. I bass fish and also help to know the best flies, but the trout must have!
I had this book for over a year and still shows off my shelf as my number one pattern book. It is well designed, easy-to-use spiral binding, and this is the dream of a setting on your tying bench. I was really impressed w / quality photos and step-by-step instructions for basic, intermediate and adavanced flies. I gave to several people as gifts and recommended it to all!

Priced reasonably, this is the perfect complement to fly-tying literature. It is beautifully printed, illustrated and bound. In view of the lake is situated in flat spiral binding. It is strong. In the book the names of fish and flies to attract them, a clear and concise. I gave this book to the avid angler who has a small mountain of fly-tying books and magazines. 6 months ago launched the Fly Fishing, here in Mexico is very expensive to buy flies already, the reason why I started to do it alone. I bought this book by the good reviews, and the truth that it was a good decision, it is still a very good book for someone like me starts to fly in the binding. A very good book and detailed pictures, very easy to follow, very practical and easy to understand. Just EXCELLENT!.
